There are so many photography enthusiasts out there—but most still stick to basic point-and-shoot clicks on their mobiles!
What many don’t realise is that even budget smartphones these days come with an Advanced or Pro mode (or by some other name depending on the brand) in the camera.
All you need to do is open that mode, explore the settings and start experimenting.
You don’t even need to know the theory just slide things around and see the changes live on your screen. It’s that simple!
To show you what a difference it can make, here are 3 shots of the same subject, taken from the same angle, within seconds of each other:
1st Photo: Normal Mode – Just a regular mobile shot. It’s flat and overly bright like most photos people take without tweaking anything.
2nd photo: Pro Mode (Auto settings) – Same phone, same subject, but instantly looks more balanced and refined. You can see the difference.
Pro Mode (Tweaked manually) – I played with a few settings like shutter speed, EV and white balance. Not claiming it’s perfect but see how different and dramatic it looks compared to the first two? Its got a “mood”!
So go on ditch the default. Explore Pro mode whenever possible. Learn by doing. Your photos will stand out.
PS: No effort was made to beautify the balcony to make it look more presentable or photogenic!
